Mrs. Julia Hudspeth
Collinsville - Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Julia Hudspeth, who died at the family home, Thursday night. Mrs. Hudspeth, before her marriage to J.J. Hudspeth, was Julia A. Manning. She was born Oct. 1, 1851 in Monroe county, Mo., and came to Texas with her parents in 1866.
Services were conducted at the residence by Rev. Lowell Price of Denton, with Naylor Brothers in Charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Lavergne Stephenson, John Voelkle, Hubert Meader, J.W. McCaughey, R.I. Moncrief, and Marshall Davis. Flower girls were: Mary Belle Brown, Mrs. Ruth Reast and Louise King.
Mrs. Hudspeth is survived by the following nieces and nephews: Eugene Epler of Los Angeles, Calif., W.C. de Cordova, Pampa; J.R. de Cordova, Claypool, Ariz., Mrs. Minnie de Cordova, and Mrs. Vivian Hatch of Washington, Okla....Sherman Democrat
