Russell - Jacob Eichman, 70, died Tuesday at the Russell City Hospital after a short illness. Born Aug. 18, 1900, in Russell Co., he married Goldena Komin July 23, 1963, at Beloit. He was a former owner and operater of the City Cut Rate Store and had been a lifelong resident here.

Survivors include the widow; sisters, Mrs. Mary Ehrlich, Russell; Mrs. Katherine Turnipseed, Roanoke, VA; Mrs. Elmer Bachelor, White River, SD; Mrs. David Walter, Wilson; half-brothers, John and Ruben, Russell; half-sister, Mrs. Mollie Dreiling , Hays.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thurs. at Pohlman's Mortuary Chapel, Russell with the Rev. Ernest Pihl officiating. Burial was in the Russell Cemetery.
