RITES FOR MARIE E. FUNK TO BE HELD HERE TOMORROW
Funeral services will be held here tomorrow afternoon for Marie Elizabeth Funk, 85-year-old Russell county resident, who died Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock in the Ellsworth hospital where she had been a patient for seven weeks.
A short service will be held at the Deines Brothers Funeral home at 1:45 with services from the St. John Lutheran church following at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Theodore Althof will have charge of the services and burial will be in the Russell cemetery.
Mrs. Funk was born Sept. 8, 1864, in Russia, and came to this country in 1892. She is survived by four children: Mrs. Elizabeth Bisterfeld, of Dorrance; Alex and Henry Funk and Mrs. Lydia Steward, all of Russell; 10 grandchildren; and five gt. grandchildren. He husband preceded her in death.
