Havre Man War Victim
Havre, Army Pfc LeRoy C. Kech, 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Kech, Havre, has been killed in action in Vietnam, the Defense Department reported Tuesday.
Cech, a member of the 25th Infantry Division, died Friday while on a combat operation. He was a member of the Montana Army National Guard for six years before enlisting in the Army in 1968. He had been in Vietnam since December of 1969.
He was the 221st Montanan to die in the Vietnam conflict.
