GRAY - A Service of Memory Celebrating The Life Of Anthony Tobias, Sr., will be held at 12:00P.M. Thursday, February 23, 2012. Reverend Jerome McClain will officiate and Reverend Donnie Braswell of New Street Tabernacle of Praise and Worship, Gray, will serve as Eulogist. Interment services will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
Mr. Tobias, 65, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. A Round Oak native, he was born to the parentage of the late Newland and Azalene Braswell Tobias. He was a 1963 graduate, with honors, from Maggie Califf High School in Gray and received two technical diplomas from Macon Technical College. He served with distinction in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a long distance truck driver for TransGas.
Survivors include four children, Ryan Tobias, Paris (Darrell) Etheridge, Anthony Tobias, Jr. and Vaccara Tobias; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
