W. F. CAREY, TAXI MANAGER, DIES OF PNEUMONIA
William F. Carey, 36, of 160 Palmer Avenue, taxicab manager for the Van Dyke & Nolan Company, is dead. Death yesterday was caused by pneumonia. Funeral services will be conducted at the home tomorrow morning and at 9:30 o’clock in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary.
A solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated by the Rev. George S. Mahon, pastor, assisted by the Rev. William Oley as deacon and the Rev. John P. Phelan as sub-deacon.
Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Ellen Carey; one sister, Mrs. John W. Potter, and one brother, John J. Carey, all of Syracuse. Bearers will be chosen from among the taxi company employes, all of whom will attend the services in a body. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
