Clippings.........Apr ?, 1941...............Picture of the couple.....married in the Methodist church in Topeka, KS on Sat. evening. Mrs. Woelk is the daughter of Mr. Wilbur New of Russel. She is a grad of class of 1939. Mr. Woelk is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. George Woelk, grad. of RHS class of 1934. He has been employed at the Kessler Cleaning Co. since graduation. They will make their home with his parents at the present time.

Roswell, GA-Durward Lee Woelk died Sat. Dec. 30, 1995, at his home in Roswell, GA. His parents were George and Sedonia (Cerney) Woelk. He lived his early life in Russell and married Neva New of Russell on April 19, 1941.

He is survived by his wife, Neva Woelk; his son, Robert Woelk of Atlanta, GA; his daughter, Susan Lee Compton of Roswell; and three grandchildren; his step-mother, Helen Gosset Woelk of Russell.

His memorial service will be at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Russell. The body will be cremated and inurnment will be in the Russell City Cemetery.
