Jamal Hakim Brown was born December 16, 1969 in Akron, Ohio to Renee DeBose Brown and Barry Louis Brown. He attended Akron Public Schools, Kent State University and The University of Akron where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business. He worked for fifteen years at Lockheed Martin International Division in Marietta Georgia. His special interests included reading, writing, technology, sports and feeding the homeless. Jamal departed this life August 31, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Marie Alford DeBose, Samuel M. DeBose and Marie Brown; aunt Emma DeBose and Cora Aleem; and uncles, Jerry DeBose and Samuel D. Debose. Jamal leaves to mourn his passing his parents Renee DeBose and Barry Brown; aunts and uncles Charles DeBose (Jacqueline), Paul DeBose (Cleora), Patricia Boyer-Jones and Pearl DeBose; brother Rasheed Brown (Sue); sister Aquila Brown (Duane); nieces and nephews Akeen Brown, Alecia Brown (mother Veronica Howard), Malik Brown, Lonnie Brown, Dominique Brown, Duane Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
