Vega – Mary Johanna Jentzen, 72, died Wednesday.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Vega with Monsignor Peter BiBennedetto, pastor, officiating. Rosary services will be at 7:30 p.m. today in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Vega Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Colonial Chapel of Amarillo.
Ms. Jentzen, born in Amarillo, moved to Vega 42 years ago.
She was a housewife and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Vega. She was a past president of the D.C.C.W. and a member of the Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; a daughter, Anna Maria Jentzen of Vega; a son, John Lawrence Jentzen of Vega; a sister, Anna LeGrand of Amarillo; and two grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
