MOUNDRIDGE -- Alice K. Ewy, 93, died May 3, 2014, at Pine Village. She was born Dec. 2, 1920, in Tescott to Anton M. and Kristina Hansen Petersen.
She was a homemaker.
She married Wilbur Neufeld on June 6, 1944. He died Nov. 22, 1967.
She married Waldo Ewy on July 5, 1985. He died Oct. 11, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Ken (Teresa) Neufeld, of Moundridge; a daughter, Kristina (Darrell) Plenert, of McPherson; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Hetzke, of Wichita; two stepsons, Harold (Joan) Ewy, of Sunrise Beach, Mo., and Ralph (Cheryl) Ewy, of Moore, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Erlene Farr, of Derby, and Karen (Rick) Suenram, of Syria, Va.; stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at United Methodist Church, Moundridge. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, with family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Moundridge Funeral Home, 115 E. Cole, Moundridge 67107. Memorial donations are suggested to the church or Pine Village.
