John Adam Botzer, died Thursday evening at 8:30 o'clock at his home near Curllsville, July 31, 1931, aged 66 years and 26 days. He was born near Madison Furnace July 4, 1865. His wife, Nancy Jane (Myers) preceded him in death 9 years ago, also three sons and two daughters preceded him in death. Two sons and two daughters survive, namely: Frank A., and Charles B., of New Kensington; John Clyde, of Sligo; Mrs. Hilda Confer and Margaret, at home. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three sisters and one brother, as follows: Wm. Botzer, of Sligo, R. D.; Mrs. Minnie Klingensmith, of New Brighton; Mrs. James Hook, of Knox R. D., and Mrs. Henry Rohean, of Greensburg. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, August 2, by Rev. Wm. Harmon, of Sligo, after which interment was made in the cemetery at Churchville.
