Wife of Ora Lester Jones, daughter of Benjamin Davis Neal and Mary Catherine Hicks Neal. Funeral services were held at Pegg, Paxton & Springer Chapel in Beaverton, Oregon for Daisy. Bearers were Greg Jones, great grandson; Ronald Jones, grandson; Paul Ruegsegger, grandson-in-law; Ted Lowery, distant cousin; and Douglas and John Taylor, Jr., grandsons.
Daisy and Orie were hosts for many Christmas dinners at their home in Beaverton. Family members remember the large dinners for many years, which included Orie's brother Buttons and wife Lizzie who lived next door. After dinner the living room rug was rolled back, the Joneses brought out their musical instruments and were the "band" for family members who loved to dance.
