She was born June 24, 1915, in the Town of Larrabee, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late Otto and Minnie (Koehler) Fredrick. She was married on Dec. 8, 1938, at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville, to Clarence F. Teske. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1992. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Pella until retirement when she moved to Shawano. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Hermansfort, the Ladies Aid, the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the St. John Cemetery Association. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, gardening, crocheting, doing craft work, and playing cards.
She is survived by: two sons, Donald (Mary) Teske of Shawano, Jerry Teske (special friends, Rachel Harmon and her daughter Emily) of Shawano; three grandson, Roger (Cindy), Greg (special friend, Karen, Tom; one great-grandson. Wheeler; a brother, Leo (viola) Fredrick of New Mexico. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Hermansfort, with the Rev. Roland Golz officating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
Friends may call at Swedberg Funeral Home, Shawano, on Monday, Nov. 5, from 4 until 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church until the time of services.
