Carl was born in Fort Jennings, Ohio. Later in life, he married a woman from Wauseon, Fulton, Ohio. They lived on East Oak Street, a few houses from my grandparents. My grandfather, Carl Fauver, and Carl would visit often when they were outside. Carl Minning was Catholic and grandpa was Protestant, so they would kid each other about their religions. I remember him as being a very nice man and a good friend for my grandfather.
Carl had no immediate family when he died, so he is now a member of my honorary family. I think this would make Grandpa smile. Maybe they are still bickering.
