Georg Ferdinand "Frederick" Winholt was born Feb 1866 in Copenhagen Denmark to parents Camilla Birgitte Karup 1825-1914), and Peter Christian Wiinholt (1805-1875). His wife was Dagmar Larsen, and they were married April 28 1897 in Chicago,Illinois. He immigrated from Denmark on The ship 'Geiser' when he was around 16 in 1884. He settled in Chicago and was naturalized in 1888. Dagmar was also from Denmark and arrived to the US in 1882 when she was around 6. Their children were Ernest Frederick Winholt and Mabel Winholt both born in Chicago. Another child Allen died as a baby. He was a druggist. He died when he was 67 on 19 May 1933 in Chicago and remains cremated. Chicago.
