CHARLES WESLEY DANIELS, 74, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on March 6, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 29, 1937 to Wesley Odelle and Edna Louise (Ennis) Daniels in Longview, Texas. He moved to El Dorado, Arkansas where he graduated from El Dorado High School in 1955. He worked as an Engineer and Journeyman Pipe fitter in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. In 1958 he served in the U.S. Army and then went to Kilgore College. He received his B.S. at Stephen F. Austin and returned years later to obtain his Master of Education. He taught in Danforth Elementary, Roosevelt Wilson and Blocker Middle School for a combined 30 years of service. He was a beloved father, son, and mentor to many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Odelle Daniels; brother, Glenn Daniels; and wife, Nancy Daniels.

He is survived by his mother, Edna Daniels; daughters, Dana Draeger and Donna Roberts; grandchildren, Wes Roberts, Taylor Roberts and Dalton Draeger; great-grandson, Cole Roberts.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. with a funeral service following at 10:00 A.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546 with Rev. Jerry Stark officiating. A private interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
