COLUMBIA ~ Miriam Sue Jackson, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Heritage at Lowman.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Covington, OH on May 28, 1919, a daughter of the late James G. and Glenna Bashor Rench. Left to cherish her beautiful spirit are her devoted children, daughter, Marianne Uschelbec and husband, Ken, of Irmo, and son, David Jackson and wife, Diane, of Seneca; grandchildren, Jim Uschelbec and wife, Lainie, of Chapin, Beth Teague and husband, Jeff, of Greenville, and Rebecca Jackson of Atlanta, GA; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, and Griffin Uschelbec, Amanda and Lydia Teague; and sisters, Betty Finfrock and Pauline Whitmer both of Covington, OH; She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Chester W. Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM, Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Living Word Chapel at the Heritage at Lowman Rehabilitation and Health Care Facility by the Rev. Robert Winburn of Spring Valley Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenhaven Memorial Park in Elgin, SC.
The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:15 PM Sunday at the Living Word Chapel at the Heritage at Lowman.
Whitaker Funeral Home, Chapin, is assisting the family.
