Reinhardt Galyardt was the third son of Henry Galyardt and his wife Susanna nee Socolosky. On February 25, 1878, Mr. Galyardt married Marie Katherine FEIL. This union was blessed with six children, five sons and one daughter. This marriage was terminated after 48 years of a very happy union on November 26,1926 with the death of his wife. On April 21, 1929, Mr. Galyardt was again married to Marie EHRLICH, which union terminated on April 1, 1933, when Mrs. Galyardt passed away. In 1887, Mr.Galyardt and his family emigrated to America, finally arriving at Wilson, Kansas.

He is survived by Reinhardt Galyardt of Fort Collins; David Galyardt, Gorha;, August Galyardt, Russell; Mrs. Ben Brack, Wichita; three daughters-in-law and one son-in-law; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers as well as many other relatives and friends.
