June K. Heap, 84, of Pawnee, formerly of Dewey, died at 3:55 a.m. Monday (March 12, 2012) at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born June 24, 1927 in Thawville to Alfred V. and Laura Marie Holmes Joerger. She married Robert E. Williams in September 1947 in Thawville. He died on July 23, 1994. She then married Leland Heap in September 1995. He died in June 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (Homer) Kaiser of Pawnee and Marian (Don) Smith of Gibson City; a son, Randy (Patty) Williams of Pawnee; six grandchildren, Phil, Leslie, Daniel, Tammy, Mitchell and Melissa and three great-grandchildren, Brice, Logan and Elizabeth.
