John F. Schroeder, 53, died Thursday at his home on Eastern Avenue, after having been in poor health for some time.
Mr. Schroeder was born in Sheboygan County on Nov. 25, 1877. For the past nineteen years he lived in Plymouth. Prior to that time Mr. Schroeder lived on a farm northeast of Plymouth. His marriage with Miss Ida Laack was solemnized on September 29, 1900. Mr. Schroeder was employed at the Torke brothers garage.
Those who survive him are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Edward C. Humbracht, Plymouth and Lucile at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Herman Millert, Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Chris Perronne, Plymouth and Mrs. Augusta Kleinhans, Plymouth.
Mr. Schroeder, who was well-known in Plymouth and vicinity, was a member of the Plymouth Fraternal Order of Eagles.
The funeral will be Monday at the home in Plymouth and at the Reformed church. Rev. H. G. Schmid will officiate and interment will be in the Johnsonville Cemetery.
