Ann L. Gergen, age 94, of Lincoln, Nebraska, entered into rest on March 7, 2012. She was born on April 6, 1917 in Lincoln to Jacob and Paulina (Kreiger) Loos. Ann met Earl Gergen and they were married May 16, 1951 in Aurora, Nebraska. They lived most their lives in Lincoln where they raised their two sons, Mike and Dennis. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family and her home. Ann loved to sing and go to dances and spent her last years reminiscing about those days.

Ann is survived by her son and daughter in law, Mike and Judy Gergen, and son Dennis Gergen; her grandchildren Ben Madsen, Jeston, Jon, and Daniel Gergen; two great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law Dorothy Loos and Dorothy Dericks; and many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Earl; three brothers and eight sisters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 10:00 am at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th Street. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, with family greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials in care of the family.
