Mrs. A. H. Ebel Funeral Tuesday

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Baker Chapel for Mrs. A. H. Eel who died at 3 a.m. Sunday at the Holmes Memorial hospital.
TheRev. Roy May, pastor of the First Methodist church, will conduct the last rites with burial to follow in the City Cemetery.
Mrs. Evelyn was born Emma Emelie Menking, to E. O. and Justine Schmit Menking on April 3, 1876, in Lavaca county. Her parents were natives of Germany and Industry, Texas respectively.
She was married on December 3, to A. H. Evelyn, who preceded her in death on September 4, 1938.
A life-lone member of the Methodist church, Mrs. Evelyn was active in the Woman's Socity of Christian Service of the church until ill health forced her retirement.
Survivors include six daughters, Miss Pauline Ebel, New Braunfels; Mrs. Lydia Ebel, Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. Harold (Pearl) Warwood, Cinninnadi , Ohio, Miss Olga Ebel, this city, Mrs. Arthur (Viola) Adlof, Three Rivers; and Mrs. Charles (Cecelia ) Riggins of Sanderson; and one son, George Ebel, Gonzales.
Also surviving are two brothers, Ervin Menking, Gonzales and Wesley Menking of Washington state; two sisters, Mrs. Frieda Menking, Gonzales; and Mrs, Milton Dinges of San Antonio; three grandchildren , Patrice and Kevin Shanklin, Gonzales; and Ann Lisa Haak of Bellville.
Pall bearers will include Jake Turk, George Courtney, Roy Halamicek, Oscar Buchholtz, Charles Adlof, Milton Ronshausen, J.Q. Short and Henry Deschner.
