DUPONT, DARLENE JENNIFER, 25 - of Pleasantville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Darlene attended Pleasantville public schools, graduating from Pleasantville High School in 1998. After graduating High School, she attended Edison Job Corp, Edison, graduating in 1999. Darlene received further Education at the Meadowview (PRN) Nurse Training School, Northfield, graduating in 2003. As a child and young adult, Darlene attended the Friendship Glorious United Pentecostal Church, ACNJ, where she was a choir director, praise dance assistant, and wrote plays. Darlene cherished her only child, a daughter, Ke'anni. She also loved the Lord, and enjoyed singing, writing poems, and drama.

Darlene leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Ke'anni, Pleasantville; parents, Tyrone and Joan DuPont of Pleasantville; sisters, Chanese DuPont and Jashira McCall, both of Pleasantville, a sister, Kimberly Mitchell, of Plainfield; a brother, Tyrone "Buddy" DuPont, Jr. of Pleasantville; a maternal grandmother, Rheudella Watson, of Atlantic City; a paternal grandmother, Calliemae DuPont of Salsbury, MD; an uncle Bobby Lee Watson, of Salsbury, MD; special loved ones, Laurie Brookins, of Atlantic City and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her grandfather John Lee Dupont.

Services will be held at In His Image Ministries, 119 So. Franklin Blvd. (corner of Franklin Blvd & Black Horse Pike), Pleasantville, on Saturday, October 15, 2005, at 10:00am. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville. Funeral service entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Home.
