Peggy J. Bunger, age 70, passed away, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Private family services will be held.

Peggy was the third of seven children born to Glenn and Arlene (Schult) Schroeder on September 20, 1941. She was raised on farms near Elkton and Flandreau before moving to Sioux Falls with her family.

Peggy was married to Myron Bunger on July 1, 1964.

She spent many years as an active Cub Scout Den Mother, full time farm wife and mother. In her free time she enjoyed working with her hands doing gardening, sewing, quilting and woodworking.

Surviving are her husband, Myron Bunger, daughter, Niki Anderson of Thief River Falls, MN, two sons, Daron Bunger of Harrisburg, SD and Layne (Bonnie) Bunger of Sioux Falls and eight grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lyle Schroeder, a sister, Sharolyn Jones, brother-in-law,Neil McNab, and son, Damon Bunger. She will be missed by many other friends and relatives whose lives she impacted in a variety of ways.
