Excerpt--age 96, of Tunnelton, died Dec. 4, at Heartland of Preston Co. She was born Sept. 30, 1904, in Tunnelton, d/o the late George Washington and Judia Alice Shannon Maier. She is survived by a daughter, Gloria LaRue Miller, of Tunnelton; a son, Ward L. LaRue, of Berkeley Springs; two sisters-in-law, Bessie Cool Maier, of Baltimore, and Virginia Ruth Maier, of Tunnelton; eight grandchildren, Pamela Miller Readd, of Greensboro, Pa., William L. Miller, Jr., of Fairmont, Steve LaRue, of Hagerstown, Md., Eric LaRue, of Berkeley Springs, Renee LaRue Brown, of Belmont, N.J., Julie LaRue Shiben, of Middletown, Md., Jill LaRue Humbel, of Frederick, Md., and Michael R. Stanton, of Newark, Del. She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. LaRue; a son, Wade B. LaRue; a daughter, Sue Ellen LaRue Stanton; four brothers, Pearl, Wesley, John and Howard; and three sisters, Sylvia Sanders, Gussie Bolyard and Mabel Spahr. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood.
