A pretty home wedding occurred at the home of Mrs. Catherine Back, 1020 Mound Street, at 8:30 on October 10, 1910, when her granddaughter, Miss Lottie Schweim and Frank H. Mangelsdorf were united in marriage. The Rev. Theodore Bundenthal of Trinity Lutheran Church performed the marriage ceremony in the presence of immediate relatives. The bridal couple were unattended. The bride wore a becoming dress of white Paris muslin and carried a bouquet of bride roses. An elaborate wedding supper was served, after which the bride and groom went to their own home on Eighth and Parallel street. The bride of last evening is one of Atchison's finest young women. She lived from her childhood with her grandmother, Mrs. Back, until several years ago when she went to St. Louis, Missouri, and became a trained nurse, returning a few months ago to prepare for her marriage. Frank H. Mangelsdorf is treasurer of the Mangelsdorf Bros. Co. and an honorable, bright business man who is influential in the community where he was born and raised. He is the son of August, Mangelsdorf, president of Mangelsdorf Bros. Co.
