Hilda Lucille Haase, of Lander, died in Lander on May 26, 2011. Her husband, Russel G. Haase died in Lander on October 11, 2010. There will be a Celebration Service of both special individuals at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home. Mr. Haase was previously cremated. Mrs. Hilda Haase will have a visitation from 12:00 pm – until the service begins also in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home. Following the service her wishes were to be cremated as well. They will then be inurned at Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.


Hilda Lucille Haase, 80, formerly of Watertown, South Dakota, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 in the Lander Regional Hospital.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Lander, after cremation has taken place.

Hilda Lucille Haase was born in Grand Meadow, Minnesota, on April 7, 1931 the daughter of William Oeltjen and Anna Pantze.

On February 2, 1967 she married Russel Haase in Stewartville, Minnesota. She worked as a housekeeper at Watertown South Dakota Hospital for numerous years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rus; son, Ronald; 1 sister; & 4 brothers.

Survivors include son, Roger (Christine) Haase of Lander; daughter, Rhonda of Watertown, South Dakota; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; & 8 brothers.
