Oh, did we have to suffer such pain
That a heart barely can bear?
Deeply shaken and trembling
We feel what God has done,
Torn a father from us
Whom his family painfully misses.
Oh, the beloved will not return,
Even if the heart breaks from grief,
Yet in lofty heights of Heaven
We shall meet again.
