She married Adolph Joseph Hanauer in about 1921. They had 4 children. They owned and operated Hanauer Machine Works, Inc., in Avon, Minnesota for many years.
Left to mourn her death was her husband; sons, Burton C. (Janet Bloms) Hanauer and Duane Leroy (Ramona Hill) Hanauer; daughter, Deryleys (John) Borgerding; brothers, Hebert Joseph Markus, William Louis (Helen Johnson) Markus, Adolph Edward (Erna Ernst) Markus, and Alfred Rudolph (Lucille Gilk) Markus; and sister, Ella Victoria (Ernest) Wichern.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evyone Doreen Hanauer (infant); brother, Edward Karl Markus; and half-brother, Henry Edward (Dora Harter) Lick.
The funeral was held on February 9, 1974 with burial following the service.
