"Mrs. Minnie A. Baldauf, aged 83, died April 12 [sic] at Binghamton. She was born April 4, 1883, in Maryland, the daughter of Edward and Anna Houghton. She was a lifelong resident of the Maryland-Schenevus area. She was a member of the Schenevus United Mehodist Church. Surviving are a son, Orval Cook of Endicott; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Decker of Jefferson and Mrs. Mildred Sternberg of Cobleskill; a sister, Mrs. Dora McAllister of New Jersey; four brothers, Seward Houghton of Maryland, Warren Houghton of Waukegan, Ill., William Houghton of Maryland and Russell Houghton of Dolgeville; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews ...
