Richard Broich, 65, passed away April 2, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of Richard's life will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2012 at the funeral home.
Richard was born February 7, 1947 in Carrol, IA to Frank and Loretta Broich. He was a retired Des Moines police officer of 20 years and was a proud veteran of the Air Force.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Broich, Polly Mason; grandson, Jacob; five sisters; and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
