Mrs. Anna Marguerite Gies, 65, of 223 10th Street, died early Monday at Weld County General Hospital. She was born Oct. 20, 1891 in Frank, Russia and came to this country in 1906. She and Henry Gies were married July 12, 1910. He died in May 1952. Mrs. Gies was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are the following children: Adam J. Gies and Mrs. Esther Stanske, both of Denver; Robert, Samuel and John R. Gies, Mrs. Margaret Beck, Mrs. Pauline Dilka and Mrs. Lillian Dechant, all of Greeley; Mrs. Hannah Speed of Junesboro, AR; Benjamin Gies of Great Falls, MT; and Rayman Gies of Cheyenne.

Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Henry and George Flot, both of Greeley.
