Angela M. Pitz, 91, of Dubuque, formerly of Epworth, Iowa, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997, at Stonehill Care Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Epworth, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Epworth, where there will be a scripture wake service at 5 p.m.

Miss Pitz was a secretary for Hoelscher's Apothecary for many years until her retirement.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1906, in Epworth, daughter of J. Peter and Anna (Kalb) Pitz.

She received her education in the Epworth area schools and the former Bayless Business College in Dubuque. She was a member of St. Raphael's Cathedral.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Bill (Ruth) Schaffert, of Davenport, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wilbert "Bill" and Paul Pitz; and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Florence) Lansing and Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Beckmann.

An Angela M. Pitz Memorial Fund has been established.
