Richard J. Gad, 49, of 1126 First Ave., Hellertown, died Friday, Feb. 21, in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Wanda W. (Warren) Gad. They were married 26 years last March.
He was a car man for the Pennsylvania, Bethlehem and New England Railroad at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. from 1973 until last July.
Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Henry J. and Shirley M. (Nauman) Gad of Fort Meyers, Fla.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors: Wife and parents; son, Timothy J. and daughter, Jennifer M., both at home; sister, Sandra L., wife of William H. Haag of Hellertown, and two grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.
