Ola Marie Sledge (Peanut) passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 21st, 2012, in the arms of her daughter. She was born on November 9, 1929 in Hempstead, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Eugene Harvey Sledge, mother, Willie Lou Blumberg Kloecker, father Fritz Frederick Kloecker and brothers, Sam S. Kloecker, Fritz, and Robert Kloecker. Survived by son, Fred Sledge and wife, Wanda, daughter, Debbie Williams and husband Randy, four granddaughters, Candy McVaney, Valerie Severa and husband Steve, Kristi Noble and husband Brent, Heather McCusker and husband Marc and ten great grandchildren. Also survived by 5 sisters, (Barbara Jean, Doris Faye, Nita, Linda, Donna Beth), 4 brothers (Tommy, Buddy, August, Billy) and their families. She was a loving wife, mother and mawmaw and will be greatly missed by all. We were truly blessed to have had her in our lives and take pleasure in knowing that she is now at peace. Visitation at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home, 9926 Jones Road, Houston Texas 77065 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Saturday, March 24th. Funeral Services on Sunday, March 25th at 2:00 PM..
