Dorothy E. Wolf, 101, of Minster, OH died at 12:10 AM Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center. She was born May 16, 1911 in Ft. Loramie, OH to the late Frank & Emma (Ernst) Boerger. She married Albert H. Wolf on February 3, 1937. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1997.

She is survived by children: Marlene & Otis Garrett, Beavercreek, OH; Elaine & Kenneth Romer, Ft. Recovery; Thomas & Gina Wolf, Palm Coast, FL; Victoria & Michael Schwartz, Minster; 9 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters: Herb Boerger, New Bremen; Ralph & Eileen Boerger, New Bremen; Chris Thieman, Minster; Mary Francis, Russia; Ruth Dabbelt, New Bremen; sisters-in-law: Virginia Boerger, Minster; Irene Boerger, Ft. Loramie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, great-grandson, grandson-in-law, brothers and sisters: Alma Feldman, Leo, Alfred, Clarence, Juliana Wagner, Robert, Frank & Catherine.

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Monica's Ladies Sodality, C.L. of C., Minster American Legion Aux., Ft. Loramie Knights of St. John Aux., a chairperson for 12 years for the American Cancer Crusade and she was a volunteer bingo caller at Heritage Manor.

She and her husband Albert owned and operated Wolf's Hotel for 40 years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Wednesday October 10. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.hogenkampfh.com.
