At the age of ten she sailed to America with her parents and settled in Kewaunee, Wisconsin. Her parents were pioneers.
She married Joseph Zlab in 1885, and they settled on a farm near Casca, Wisconsin.
In the year of 1901 the family moved to Hubbell, Nebraska.
Mrs. Zlab was baptized in the Christian faith before coming to America, and in 1912 she united with the Methodist Church in Hubbell. Her husband, Joseph and two sons: Jerry and Wencil.
She is survived by her children: Mrs. Libbie Dufek of Algoma, Wisc., Mrs. Mary Vasey of Liberty, Nebr., Joseph of Modesto, Calif., Theodore of Newberg, Ore., Mrs. Anna Miles, Henry, Frank, John, Philip and Garnet all of Hubbell, besides 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted in the Hubbell Methodist church (sic) on Jan. 24. Rev. James Irwin was the pastor in charge. Secial (sic) music was by Mrs. E.R. Pont and Miss Vera Pointer, with Mrs. Walter Mannschreck at the organ.
Burial was in the Hubbell cemetery (sic).
