Dora L. Wood, 85, of Charleston died (Mon.) Nov. 24, 1997, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Sissonville, after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and member of Randolph Street Baptist Church.
Surviving: daughters, Mary E. Shafer of Charleston, Ella J. Taylor of Cumberland, Md.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. (Nov. 26) Wednesday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor Thomas Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home
