Benjamin Reininger Chilton Times January 21, 1900

Died – At the home of his son in this city, on Saturday, Jan. 20th, Benjamin Reininger, aged 77 years, 6 months and 1 day. The deceased person was born at Baden, Germany, July 19, 1822. He came to America in 1883 and located at Fredonia where he resided until 1890 when he came to his city with his son Remig with whom he resided until his death. For a few years past the old gentleman has been afflicted with heart trouble. On Friday evening he went to bed in apparently good health and on the following morning when he did not get up as usual his son visited his bed room and found him dead. The funeral took place on Monday from St. Mary's Catholic Church of which he was a devout member. He leaves two sons, Rev. Fr. Reininger of Roxbury, Reming of this city and one daughter, Mrs. John Kritenbrink of Chicago.
