Mrs. Schneider was born here March 8th, 1880, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Ruedebusch. At their beautiful home she grew up, and attended the local schools. She was a gifted musician and gave many an audience great pleasure with her unusually fine voice.
In May, 1920 she was married to Richard Schneider of Milwaukee and their happy union was blessed with one son, John Jacob. Since their marriage they resided at Milwaukee but often visited here.
Besides her sorrowing husband, son and parents, she leaves an only brother, Richard, now at The Hague, Holland, and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Lang of this city, Mrs. Wm. Rueping and Mrs. John Goetz, both of Fond du Lac, and she leaves many other relatives and friends who also deeply regret her early death.
The remains were brought out to the Ruedebusch home and from there the funeral took place Sunday afternoon to St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. Father Ritger spoke words of consolation over her who had so often thrilled devoted listeners there with her fine singing. The interment was at Graceland cemetery where Mr. Keeley delivered the eulogy and spoke words of sympathy.
The News too extends heartfelt sympathy.
