She was born January 13, 1924 at Highland, Frederick County, Maryland, and was the daughter of the late Cyrus Welty and Susan Irene Pryor Early.
Mae was a life long member of Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville. For many years she was employed at the Waynesboro, Pa., Knitting Mill and for several years also was a food service worker at Myersville Elementary School.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her two granddaughters.
Mae is survived by her husband of 44 years, Stanley Cyrus Kline; her daughter Debra Ann Bussard and husband Monty; two granddaughters Krista Elizabeth Bussard and Elyssa Kate Bussard; and one brother Cyrus Welty Early and wife Hazel, all of Myersville; two aunts, Ruth Martin of Smithsburg and Edna Pryor of Boonsboro; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be remembered by her beloved cat friends Jasper and Whiskers.
