SEATTLE -- Marbel J. (Miggs) Randall, longtime Craigmont resident, died Friday at the Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle from causes related to age. She was 88.

She was born Sept. 30, 1909, to Samuel and Eva Johnson, near St. Joseph, Mo., and came to Idaho as a child.

She married K.K. "Dick" Randall in Lewiston on Oct. 4, 1929. They made their home in the Craigmont area where they farmed for more than 50 years.

After retirement, she enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, and camping in the family RV. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting her children and grandchildren.

Her husband died on Feb. 4, 1982.

She is survived by three daughters, Jeanne Aaring of Yakima, Rose Mary Howell of Las Vegas, Nev., and Marlene Kroiss of Magnolia, Texas; a son Kenneth Randall of Dixon, Calif.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
