Frank R. Stuntebeck, age 85, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 16,1996. He was born on September 10, 1911 in Kimball, SD, the son of Henry and Mary (Fritz) Stuntebeck. He moved to the Waterloo area with his family when he was eight years old. On September 11, 1937 he married the former Marion Haberman at St. Francis Catholic Church in Lake Mills. They farmed in the Deerfield area until 1977 when they moved to Marshall. He also built silos and worked at the lumberyard in Waterloo. He and his wife have spent 17 winters in Florida. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters and Knights of Columbus. He loved to fish and deer hunt. Survivors include his wife, Marion; three sons, Ervin (Judy) of Deerfield, Richard (Janice) of Sparta and David (Loretta) of Marshall; a daughter, Mary Ann (Don) Voigt of Beaver Dam; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Paul of Marshall; a sister, Sue Detert of Marshall; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 19, 1996 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church. Hart-Vick Funeral Home is serving the family. WSJ 12/18/1996
