Services for Richard Styskal, Sr, longtime David City plumber, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church and Cemetery in David City. Msgr, A.J, Lisko will officiate. Parish wake is set for 7:30 p.m. today at Knoll Funeral Home, David City, where the body lies in state until 9 p.m.

Mr. Styskal died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln after a lingering illness.
Son of Anton and Anna Machurek Styskal, he was born Nov. 3, 1919 at David City, and married Mildred Humlicek on Nov. 18, 1940. Survivors include his wife; sons, Donald, Robert and Ricky of DavidCity; daughters, Mrs.Dean (Joyce) Walton and Mrs.Fred(Diane) Bock, both of Lincoln; nine grandchildren.
A son, Edward, died in July, 1973.
