Mrs Annie Ryan, wife of John Ryan, died this morning at the family home at Sixth & Walnut streets. She was 40 years of age and had been ill only a short time. The funeral will be Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and services will be at the home.

Funeral of Mrs John Ryan
The funeral of Mrs Ann Ryan, wife of John Ryan, took place this afternoon at 3 o'clock and services were conducted at the the home by Rev Theodore Oberhellmunn, of the Evangelical church. Mrs Ryan had lived in Alton all her life, and was well known here. The attendance at the funeral was large and a long cortege followed the body to the city cemetery.
