Lynn A. Teare, 37, of Gravel Creek Road died Wednesday at home.
She was born Nov. 22, 1949, in Cleveland to Sumner and Marion Mensforth. She was resident of Andover for 16 years.
She was employed as a medical secretary for Dr. Randall G. Tharp.
Survivors include her husband, Andover Police Chief William H. Teare, whom she married on Aug. 13, 1970; one daughter, Dana M., at home; her mother; and one brother, Robert Mensforth of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, with Dr. Roger Rambaud officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover.
No calling hours will be observed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Andover Fire Department. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
