Hunter Christian Krause, 13 of Iowa Falls, entered into eternal life with his family by his side at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Saturday, July 19 after collapsing while playing football with his many close friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 23 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls. Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 22 at the church. Internment will be at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls. A reception will follow at Highland Golf Club. Memorial contributions in Hunters honor may be directed to the Hunter Krause Athletic Memorial Fund.

Hunter was born January 25, 1995 the son of Kent and Lori (Williams) Krause in Quincy, Illinois. He was entering the eighth grade at River Bend Middle School in Iowa Falls. Hunter was a member of First Methodist Church, Iowa Falls-Alden Jr. High Track, Football, Basketball, and North Central Strykers Soccer Club. He had been active in Little League Baseball, Student Council and the Boy Scouts of America. Hunter loved all animals. He enjoyed traveling with his parents and brother, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, snowboarding, four wheeling with his brother, and most of all hanging with his friends.
Hunter will be missed by his parents Kent and Lori, brother Parker of Iowa Falls, Grandparents Edna Williams of Iowa Falls, Dallas and Lorretta Krause of Iowa Falls, Great Grandparents William and Esther Krause of Alden, Aunt Kelly Vogel of Marshalltown, Uncles Scott (Sandy) Williams of Eldora, Karlton (Joelle) Krause and Kurtis (Deanna) Krause of Iowa Falls. Hunter was also adored by his many cousins, Anthony Vogel (Stephanie) Cedar Rapids, Ariadne and Alyssa Vogel of Iowa City, Quinton Krause of Iowa Falls, Alayna Vogel of Marshalltown, Kathrine and Charles Williams of Eldora, Lane Krause, Logan Krause, Kassidy Krause, Evan Krause, Mattie Krause, Jack Krause all of Iowa Falls.

In eternal life he joins his maternal Grandfather Charles Williams, Great Grandparents Frank and Jennie Retleff, Earl and Esther Willams, Fred and Pauline Lochmann, and Uncle Rick Vogel.

He will always be remembered by Parker as a wonderful brother and friend.
