Donna was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and the League of Catholic Women. She also enjoyed her involvement with the Saginaw Seniors Retirees Club and volunteering at the Saginaw Rescue Mission and at the Pines Convalescent home. In her later years, Donna enjoyed visiting relatives, especially spending time with her great-nephew Brian O'Curran and his family in Romeo, Michigan, where she had many friends.
Left to cherish Donna's memory are her nieces: Mary Ellen O'Curran and Diane (Rich) Holly, both of Saginaw, MI., Nancy (Jerry) Staffieri of Staten Island, NY., Sandra Osterloh of Rapid City, MI., and Marlene (Jim) McArthur of Nisswa, MN.; several great nephews and nieces; and her dear friend and neighbor, Grace Gensky. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris (Otto) Gross of Traverse City, MI.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn St. Rev. Fr. James G. Heller will officiate with Rite of Committal at Roselawn Cemetery.
Friends are welcome to visit at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. A Vigil service will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
