Funeral services for Mrs Michael H. Stubenrauch, aged 62, who died at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital on Thursday Morning will held Monday afternoon at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev Edward H. Krause will officiate.
The body is lying in state now at Nickel's Funeral home.
Mrs Stubenrauch, nee Pauline Koepke was born in Leinfelda, Germany, July 28, 1872, the daughter of Mr & Mrs Carl Koepke. The family came to this country, directly to Sheboygan when she was only ten weeks old. On June 21, 1890, she was united in marriage to Michael Stubenrauch and the couple always made their home in Sheboygan.
Mr Stubenrauch is a well known contractor, having followed that trade in Sheboygan for more than 40 years.
Living here all her life, Mrs Stubenrauch enjoyed a large circle of friends and acquaintances in this city and vicinity. She was greatly devoted to her home and family and being very fond of flowers her favorite pastime was her garden.
She was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a charter member of its Ladies Aid Society, serving as president for two terms.
Surviors are : her husband, a son Edgar A Stubenrauch, well-known Sheboygan architect: two daughters, Norma, now Mrs Rudolph Minster of this city and Anita, now Mrs Adolph Mallmann of Kohler; seven grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs Robert Kohls, Mrs Frank Haack, Mrs Oscar Haacker and Mrs Arnold Eickstaedt, all of this city and five brothers, Albert, Charles, Hugo and Erwin Koepke, all of this city, and Walter of St Paul, MN. One son Walter died in infancy.
