Mrs. Amanda V. Adams, widow of George E. Adams, 3191/2 Spring Avenue, died yesterday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock following an illness of five days at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late Uriah and Catherine Flickinger Baughman. Her husband preceded her in death 24 years ago. Surviving are three nephews and one niece.
She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and the Rev. Dr. Marsby J. Roth Sunday School class. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Frederick Bucher funeral home, Frederick St. Her pastor, the Rev. H. E. Sheely will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
